“Pakej Cuti-Cuti Cikgu 2023 is a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the welfare of teachers under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM). This is a gesture of respect and appreciation from the government. In line with the 2023 National Teachers’ Day celebration, KPM has rolled out 10 new initiatives designed to bolster teachers’ welfare and alleviate their burdens.
Education Minister, Fadhlina Sidek, emphasized that besides the seven measures previously decided by KPM, these 10 new initiatives also aim to help reduce living costs, stimulate the economy, and enhance national welfare.
Pakej Cuti-Cuti Cikgu 2023 offers a range of benefits including discounts on flight tickets, accommodations, land transportation, and theme parks. This is achieved through collaborations with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the Ministry of Transportation Malaysia, and strategic partners such as AirAsia, Traveloka and Bank Rakyat
This initiative is expected to promote tourism destinations and stimulate the national economy. 10 initiatives by KPM in conjunction with Teachers’ Day 2023:
